ANU Flute Day

Flute Day will feature internationally acclaimed neurologist/flautist: Prof. Eckart Altenmüller (Institute of Music Physiology and Musicians’ Medicine Hanover, Germany), Sally Walker (ANU School of Music/Omega Ensemble), Kiri Sollis (Griffyn Ensemble) and other esteemed Canberra flautists and teachers including: Kate Murphy, Jodie Petrov, Jane Rayner and Jennifer Brian (Canberra Bach Ensemble) and pianist Natalia Tkachenko.

Activities will include:

Music/Mind/Body workshop from a leading world authority;
Flute ensembles (beginner – professional levels);
Masterclasses;
Concert;
Flute maintenance;
Try a Baroque Flute;
games for young flautists and more!
