The third of October is the Day of German Unity, celebrated as German National Day in commemoration of the anniversary of the German reunification in 1990.
As part of the reception, the German Consulate is hosting a classical concert performed by selected musicians from the Queensland Symphony Orchestra together with Australian flutist Sally Walker who spent many years performing in Germany.
